Ingredients
  

  • 1 Ib ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag Doritos
  • sour cream chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the Seasonings: Stir in the taco seasoning, cream of chicken soup, and Rotel tomatoes. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Layer the Casserole: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed Doritos. Pour the beef mixture over the Doritos, then sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Add another layer of crushed Doritos and top with the remaining cheese.
  • Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with sour cream or chopped green onions if desired.
