  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cup cubed bread
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 11/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cubed
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
  • Add cubed bread and chopped pecans, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Grease the slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour the bread mixture into the slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  • Sprinkle the topping over the bread mixture, then dot the top with cubed butter.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve warm with additional maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
